Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Softloom Homes. We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. General Policy

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, unless stated otherwise on the product page.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition, with all tags, labels, accessories, and original packaging intact.
You must provide a valid order ID/invoice for any return or refund request.

2. Non‑Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund:

Products that are damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or wrong installation after delivery.
Items marked as “Final Sale”, “Non‑returnable” or “No exchange/No refund” on the product page.
Customized, made‑to‑order, or specially modified products, except where they are received in damaged or defective condition.
Products returned without original packaging or with missing parts/accessories.

3. Damaged, Defective or Wrong Product

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Share your order ID, description of the issue, and clear photos/video of the product, packaging, and any visible damage.
After verification, we may offer one of the following, depending on the situation and stock availability:

Repair or replacement of the item
Exchange with the same or similar product
Full or partial refund

If damage is confirmed to be due to transit or manufacturing, you will not be charged any additional pickup or reverse shipping fees.

4. Return Process

To raise a return request:

Our team will review your request and inform you whether it is approved, along with the next steps.
If a pickup is arranged by us, the product must be properly packed to avoid further damage in transit.
In some locations, you may be requested to ship the product back to us using a reliable courier; in such cases, we will inform you about shipping cost handling in advance.

5. Inspection and Approval

Once we receive the returned product, it will go through a quality inspection.
If the item passes inspection (unused, undamaged, and in original condition), your return/refund will be approved.
If the item is found to be used, damaged, or not in its original condition, we may reject the return or offer only a partial refund, at our sole discretion.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method (or as store credit, if you choose) within 7–10 working days after approval.
The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping charges, COD fees, installation fees, and other service charges are generally non‑refundable, except where the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).

7. Exchanges

Where possible, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund—for example, replacing a defective item with a new one or exchanging with a different size/model of similar value.
Exchanges are subject to stock availability and approval by our team.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders can usually be cancelled before dispatch.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellation will be treated as a return, and all return conditions and charges will apply.
For customised or made‑to‑order items, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun, or a cancellation fee may apply.
