At Softloom Homes, we want you to enjoy long‑term use of the products you purchase from us. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to raise a warranty claim.
1. Warranty Coverage
Selected products sold by Softloom Homes come with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
The warranty period (for example, 6 months / 1 year / 3 years) will be mentioned on the product page or invoice, wherever applicable.
During the warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair, replace, or offer an appropriate solution/credit for products that are found to have genuine manufacturing defects.
2. What Is Covered
Subject to normal household use, warranty generally covers:
Manufacturing defects in material or workmanship.
Structural issues such as major cracks, breakage, or joint failures that occur without misuse.
Defects reported within the warranty period and supported with proof of purchase (order ID/invoice).
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover the following:
Damage due to misuse, rough handling, impact, dropping, dragging, or improper movement.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, self‑assembly errors, unauthorised repairs or modifications.
Damage from water, moisture, heat, direct sunlight, chemicals, or cleaning with harsh products.
Normal wear and tear, minor scratches, colour or shade variation, natural marks in the material, or softening/flattening of cushions over time.
Commercial/industrial use of products that are meant for residential use.
Any issue reported after the expiry of the warranty period.
4. Conditions for Warranty
Warranty is applicable only on products purchased directly from Softloom Homes (official website or authorised channels) and is valid only for the original purchaser.
A valid invoice/order ID is mandatory to claim warranty.
The decision to repair, replace, or offer a partial/full credit lies solely with Softloom Homes after inspection of the issue.
Replacement parts or products may differ slightly in finish or design depending on availability and product updates.
5. How to Raise a Warranty Claim
If you face any issue covered under warranty:

Share your order ID, product name, date of purchase and a clear description of the problem.
Attach clear photos or videos showing the defect (close‑up and full product view).
Our team will review the details, may ask for additional information if needed, and inform you of the next steps.
In some cases, we may arrange an inspection (online or physical) before confirming the warranty solution.
6. Inspection, Service and Costs
If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, Softloom Homes will bear the cost of repair or replacement as per our assessment.
If the issue is not covered under warranty (for example, misuse or accidental damage), we may offer paid repair/service where possible, and the cost will be communicated before proceeding.
Any transportation, dismantling, re‑installation or on‑site visit charges (if applicable) will be informed to you in advance.
7. Limitation of Liability
The warranty is limited to repair, replacement or credit for the affected product, as decided by Softloom Homes. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses such as loss of use, time, income, or any damage caused by misuse of the product.
